There is water in the sea, in rivers, in lakes and we humans also have water, but its quantity is different in everyone. As an adult has 65 percent water, young children has 80 percent water and the elderly have only 50 percent water. There are cells called erythrocytes in the blood, if they do not get water, they shrink and die. Similarly, if the muscles do not get water, they can shrink up to 70 percent and the same will be the case with our brain because the brain is also made up of 70 percent water.

Water works to transport nutrients and oxygen in the body, the part of the blood called plasma is basically water and about 55 percent of the blood is plasma and the remaining 45 percent is made of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets.

If there is no water, then our immune system will also stop, apart from this, water also works to get out the toxic substances from the body. In this way, at least one and a half liters of water comes out from the body every day, that is why one should keep drinking water.

The body also needs water to absorb the nutrients obtained through food. Whatever we eat, water breaks it into small pieces, after this, together with water, these nutritious elements reach different parts of the body.
