How to get over the fear of death

Once a king becomes very worried because the number of his enemies increases a lot, he is always afraid that someone might come and attack him. For the solution of this problem, he called big scholar of his kingdom to ask them to solve his problem. After listening to the king's problem very carefully, all the scholars tell the king various solutions, some say increase your army, some say make friends with your enemies, but the king does not like anyone’s suggestion. Then a scholar tells the king, I have a solution by which you can be completely safe, the king is pleased to listen to that scholar and ask him what is that.

That scholar says that our kingdom is very small, due to which we cannot win from enemies even after increasing our army nor can we be friends with them because they will not accept your friendship but we have only one solution. And it is. We should lock this kingdom in big walls and your palace should be locked in iron walls and this wall should be thick enough that it cannot be broken and should have only one entrance About which only you know, and this entrance should be made below the ground so that to enter the palace one has to pass through a long tunnel and only a few trustworthy people should know about the tunnel.

How to overcome your fear?

The king like that scholar's solution therefore he orders his soldiers to build a wall around his kingdom and palace. Within a few months the wall is ready and the king's happiness knew no bounds as soon as the walls were built around the palace. Because now he starts feeling safe.

The king asks all these scholars, is there any danger to my life now, all the scholars say to the king no now you are completely safe. Hearing the words of all the scholars, the king starts laughing loudly, suddenly the king's minister says to the king, my king you have asked all the wise But still a great scholar remained.

The king asks who is he, the minister says, my king his name is Gautam Buddha and he has been staying with his mendicants in the forest near our kingdom for the last two days, if you have permission, then I should invite them the king says, sure if they are such great scholars, I will definitely meet him, the king's minister goes and invites Gautam Buddha.

How to overcome with fear?

Buddha accept his invitation, and reaches the king with some of his mendicant The king welcomes Buddha and tells him that Buddha seeing the increasing number of my enemies, I have made a protective shield.

Buddha asks that king what kind of protective shield the king says, I have built such a thick iron wall around my palace that no enemy can break it and enter the palace, there is only one entrance to enter the palace which is 's secret. I want to know can anyone harm me even after doing all this.

Everything is good , but you have made a mistake, the king asks, what kind of mistake, Buddha says, you should close that secret entrance also because even though it is secret but death can enter from there too on listening to Buddha, the king starts feeling something inside  and he gets into thinking for some time.

Buddha asks the king what happened, did you not find my suggestion appropriate, the king does not say anything Buddha says hey you are not afraid of your enemies, you are afraid of death, which can come to you without your enemies.

That's why you have to save not from your enemies but from death, listening to Buddha, tears start flowing from the eyes of the king, crying to Buddha, I have never thought in this way Buddha says truth is not thought, truth is seen.

How to deal with fear of death?

The reason for fear in life is that we do not want to see the truth, do not want to accept it, death is a truth, and one who does not accept it can never understand the life. People are afraid because of their wrong deeds, the king asks what is the solution of this fear Buddha says that the solution of the  fear is first to do good deeds and secondly to face  it.
