The

you are also going to say that the stomach is full but the mind is not full.
Now the problem is whether a person should listen to the stomach or listen to the mind. and why can't the mind and stomach decide among themselves that if one is filled, the other will also be filled.
First of all, let us
clarify the confusion of mind and stomach.
When the baby is born, the
doctors say that baby has to be fed(milk) in every two hours. and within a few days, the child starts feeling
hungry in every 2 hours. As the child grows up, this time-gap also increases.
But you must have noticed that the time of hunger of children is fixed.
And even if older people do
not eat junk food so they too will feel hungry at the very
moment.
But how does the body decide, there is a need to eat something, how does the brain tell us that now you are hungry. Suppose our body is a machine and it needs fuel (food) to run. If you give more fuel than necessary, it saves it as fat and the food gets digested in the stomach and intestines which are connected to the brain through the arteries of the blood. How much fuel is made in our body is monitored by blood sugar level When our stomach is full then this level is high and a signal goes to the brain that the stomach is full. And as the level starts falling down, we start feeling hungry. If the fuel runs out, then the blood sugar level drops drastically and signals start rising inside the brain that something wrong is happening. When the stomach is empty, hunger hormones are released in it.
And these hormones send signals to the brain then brain puts the body on hunger mode. And for this, a part of the brain called hypothalamus makes proteins, due to which we start feeling hungry. In this way the body understands that it is time to eat. Then as we eat food, the walls of the stomach expand, the sensors in the walls send signals to the brain, as well as some hormones got activated that tell the brain that the stomach is full now.
But
the mind does not stop us so quickly. First he checks whether we are filling
our stomach by drinking only water. Whether the enough fuel (food or energy)
for the work has come or not. If you have eaten carbohydrates (bread) etc. then
the sugar increases and a hormone called insulin is activated, which prevents
the sugar level from increasing too much.
Now let's talk about fat
The fat that you have
accumulated, they activate such hormones which give the brain a calculation of
all the old and new fats present in the body. At this point, the brain fully
understands that the stomach is full. And proteins tell every important part of
the brain that no more food is to be eaten at all. This whole process takes
about 20 minutes. That is why it is said that food should be eaten comfortably.
The brain is unable to register the biscuit salty that you eat on the go. But
when you sit comfortably and eat food then the brain gives you the
full feeling of filling your stomach.
When your favorite food is
kept in front, you start eating food very quickly, you eat in 10 minutes
instead of 20 minutes, so the stomach starts feeling full but the brain does
not.
There is another
disadvantage of eating food in a hurry, along with eating you also carry a lot
of air in the stomach.
When we eat food, while
chewing it, air also goes in along with the food. Also, when food is digested
inside the stomach and intestines, some gas is also formed during that time.
Every day some 2 liters of gas is released from our body and this is absolutely
normal.
The first thing if you need
to go to the toilet, do not restrain yourself in any way and once you go, do
not spend too much time in the toilet. Second thing keep drinking water. The
third thing is eat fiber-rich foods. fourth thing keep workout, if you do all
this, you will stay away from constipation.
Research shows that about
15% of people have regular constipation problems. As the age increases, this
problem also increases. To avoid this, you have to increase the amount of fiber
and water. Isabgol husk (medicine name) is given in case of upset stomach or
constipation because the amount of fiber in it is very high. But attention is
also needed here because too much fiber can also cause problems. This can cause
bloating or gas problems.
If
you are struggling with this, then reduce the consumption of roti and bread.
Also, stay away from things like onion, garlic and cabbage. Eat rice, corn,
tomatoes and grapes instead of these and if the effect is not visible even
after two to three months of making such changes in food, then definitely
consult a doctor. One thing is certain, both our physical and mental health
depends on what and how much we are eating. If we do not eat right then
hormones will give some opposite signal to our brain.
