How do you clear your mind?
In this post, you will know three such things said by Gautam Buddha, which can completely transform your life. Every single word said by Gautam Buddha is life changing. We just need to have the ability to understand it. The first thing is said by Buddha, who lives by seeing only good things in life, And lives whole life to fulfill the requirement of sex. Uncontrollable with the senses not taking care of proper amounts of food, those who are lazy, who avoid doing karma. A light blow can topple them as wind topples a weak tree.
How to clean the mind?
Understand the first line:: those who live only by seeing good things. Here Buddha is referring to those people who avoid seeing the reality of life, and those who only want to see happiness not sorrows. Let's understand with an example. A person sees the taste of a food, but does not see what happens inside him after eating that food.
Let me give one more example. A person sees the intoxication of alcohol but does not see the diseases that come from it. He sees the death of other people but does not see his own death. People who look at life in this way only want to see the good. Due to which the sorrows of their life never ends.
Understand the second line:: those who live their whole life to fulfill the requirement of sex. Here the Buddha is talking of people who know nothing more than to enjoy physical pleasures and to eat and drink, who only want to fulfill themselves with someone else's body, who don't care what they are putting inside themselves.
Let's understand the third line:: those who have no control over their senses. Having no control over the senses means those who do not have control over themselves. Those who do not know what they see, what they hear, what they touch, what else they eat.
Information or things comes into our body through five senses. These 5 gates are eye, nose, ear, tongue and skin.
The kind of information or things that go inside us. They have the same effect on our lives.
Let's understand the fourth line:: those Who do not know the proper amount of food. Here Buddha is talking about those people whose aim is not to fill the stomach while eating, but to fill the mind, which is impossible, such people are always suffering from physical pain.
Understand the fifth line:: those who are lazy, about doing karma. Here Buddha is talking about those people whose dreams are big, but do not want to do anything to fulfill them.
Understand the sixth line:: the slightest blow to such people makes them fall in the same way. like wind to a weak tree.
How to clear you mind from negative thoughts?
In most of the situations the mind is the master and we are its servants, but when we come to know that we are not the servants but the masters, then we start trying to know ourselves. When we are very close to knowing ourselves then our mind makes its last move which is known as Mara.
Those who do not live only for the fulfillment of sex, whose senses are in their control, who have knowledge of the proper amount of food, who are not afraid to work. Mara can't touch them Like the wind cannot move the mountain.
Buddha says the third thing. People , who consider the untrue to be true and the truth as untrue, do not attain the truth. On the other side, a person, who understands the truth as truth and untruth as untruth, attains truth.
Right will means doing what is worth doing and putting all your strength in doing that. What is the truth? Truth is the answer to this question. Who am I? You don't know how big or small your life is. You can have thousands of goals in your life. But in deep your main goal should be to know yourself because nothing is more important than that. The emphasis of every teaching of Gautam Buddha is on knowing the answer to this question. The source of these teachings of Gautam Buddha is the Dhammapada. Thank you!
